3/2/2024 0 Comments Ct flawless filterI was DARK as a kid (people couldn’t tell my family and I were related level dark) and have gotten a lot lighter in the past decade, so it’s hard for me to tell nowadays what matches and doesn’t. I used to use the Rare foundation in 190W which was a great match a couple years ago (stopped using just cause it wasn’t what I was looking for) but I might be a bit lighter now. Any thoughts or experiences?įor reference, I think I have light/med skin with warm undertones and maybe a tiny bit of olive. Charlotte Tilbury Medium (4.5) is a very warm-toned, medium-dark peach with a luminous finish. Inspired by Hollywood lighting effects, the Flawless Filter can be worn alone, underneath, mixed-with or on top of your favourite foundation to keep you inspired and your makeup looking fresh. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. Inspired by social media filters, the Hollywood Flawless Filter primes, blurs and highlights the skin with a healthy-looking glow. I can’t tell if I have the right shade or should get 4 or 4.5 and return the other. Charlotte Tilbury offers up a true multitasking formula, designed to illuminate the skin while blurring and smoothing. But every swatch pic I see looks different too. I went to look at the FF online and the product in the bottle looks wayyyy lighter in 4 or 4.5 than in 2.5, and also much cooler-toned. I tried the FF at home along with the concealer (should note I don’t have any contour/bronzer at the moment, trying to find a new go-to since mine was discontinued) and I thought it was the right shade but maybe a lil bit too light? I looked at some of my fav similar-toned MUAs and they used 4 or 4.5, and girls w lighter skin than me in other vids seemed to use a darker shade too. Perfect for those who seek a subtle, dewy glow without the heaviness of traditional. Also picked up a few other things like the nars concealer “nougatine” and ABH lip liner “parchment” (concealer has the perfect undertones + brightness for me, liner matches my lips sooo well). The formula is airy and weightless, offering a natural, barely-there finish. None were good matches but I thought the 2/3 range was okay so I grabbed a 2.5 w my fingers crossed. They only had samples for 1, 2, 3, and 6 and the staff nearby wasn’t super helpful to match me (think I caught her on a bad day). I went to Sephora on a MISSION to get the ct flawless filter + test out the shades (I use it as a foundation).
